1. Stargirl gave up her true self when she became "Susan". Do you think this was the right thing to do? Do you think it is more important to be yourself or to be popular?
2. Do you, as a reader, like Stargirl? If she were a student at Fifer Middle School, would you treat her more like Dori did or more like Hillari did?
3. What do you think about the relationship between Leo and Stargirl? Is he a good friend/boyfriend to her?
no I do not think it was the right thing to do because you shouldnt try to be someone you're not, you should just be yourself. I think that it is more importanat to be yourself. I think this because if you just be yourself, you can become truly popular and not have everyone just "think" you're popular. And also when you are yourself, you find out who your true friends are. If they are your friends, they should like you just the way you are.
ReplyDeletethis the new girl you wrote alot but its good
DeleteAs a reader, I think stargirl is very interesting. If she went to school at FMS, I think at first i would want to get to know her. After I would get to know her, I think I would treat her more like Dori Dilson did because I would realize that stargirl does all of theses things out of the kindness of her heart and like her for that. Just like Dori Dilson.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't think that leo is a good boyfriend/friend to her because he asks her to change. For example, in the text he says to stargirl "why can't you be normal? Dont you care about what anyone except me thinks?!?" The next day, stargirl changed to susan. But she only did it for leo, not for herself.
ReplyDeleteAnother good title for the book would be The Mysterious Girl. I think thats another good title for the book because stargirl is a mystery to everyone. For example when leo was talking to archie, archie said that she was a star person and that leo would be lucky ti meet another one. And, she had a secret office.
