ReplyDeleteI would rate Flush a 4 1/2 on a 5 star scale because, the book was good but, there were some boring parts and some that are not entertaining so much. Like when Noah and his Grandpa went fishing was kind of a boring part.

I think the ending was sort of good but boring at parts because, Noah Grandpa talked a lot about fishing and about his boat he lost. If i was the author I would make the ending more exiting.

I think if the author made a sequel, Dusty would break out of jail and try to prove that he wasn't dumping sewage in the water somehow.

If Flush was Made into a movie:
Noah should be played as: The kid that play Greg in diary of a wimpy kid, because he's a good actor and he is serious about his role.
Jasper Jr. should be played as: The brother from diary of a wimpy kid because he is good at playing mean parts.
Bull should be played as: the person that played Percy Jackson because, he's good at playing mean parts and a good actor.

I like Noah's Dad because, he tries to stop what is wrong and embraces the right things. But he also gets in jail a lot so, he is a good and bad character.

DeleteMy favorite part in the story is when, Noah sneaks onto the boat and the old lady comes to the bathroom that he is hiding in while he dumps the dye in the toilet that part was funny. I liked that part is was exiting and could be true.

DeleteYeah, I like that part too when they're stranded in the boat because, Noah was staying all calm to make Abby feel like every thing would be o.k even though Noah was maybe screaming his lungs out on the inside. Also, I like when the bird pooped on Noah that was funny.

ReplyDelete2. I think the ending was very good because Dusty 's boat was shut down and there grandpa went back home to explain that he was not dead. And Noah and his family are staying together and being all peaceful like. Also if I was the author yes I would have written it the same way because i like a book with lots of action,danger,and adventure but I also love a great peaceful win lose ending.

I think that if there was a sequel or part 2 to this book i would have written it where jasper Jr. and his dad try to get revenge on Noah and his family because they shutdown the casino boat.Then Dusty and Jasper would do something to Abby and take her somewhere and hide her and then the rest of the story would be about them tracking Abby down and traveling to save her life.
4.If I was being hired the casting director the three characters that I would choose are Noah,Abby,and Shelly.I picked them because they are my most favorite characters. For Noah the actor I would choose would be Chris rock off of everybody hates Chris because he is the rite size and he is a very good actor.And for Abby i would pick Chyna Ann Maklain.[I am not so sure i spelled that rite] off of A.N.T. farm because she is a very good actor and i think she would go great as Abby. And as for Shelly the actor I would pick for her would be Jill off of the show dance mom's.

ReplyDelete2. I liked the ending, every book I read ends with a happy ending or their problems are solved, i like that, and no, i don't think i would have written the resolution the same way, because everybody, might have different endings, not everyone has the same.
3. If there was a sequel or part two of the book i read, then i think that Abbey and Noah, would come across another problem, and try to solve that problem as they did Dusty and what he was doing to the water, their grandpa Bobby would come back and help them, then the story would just end up as a happy ending as it did before in the first part of the book, either a happy ending, or sad, because there may be a part three of the book and that book may have a happy ending, either that or if there was a part four, then that would have a happy ending.
4.If i was hired as the casting director for flush if it were a movie, the three characters i would pick from the book for the movie would be adults or a young adult, because i can't think of any famous children except willow smith.
the three characters i'm picking from the book to be a famous person,is:
1. bull: Justin
2. Noah's dad, Paine: that guy who plays in 51st dates who likes Lucy, the girl who has short-term memory loss, and she forgets him everyday, and he tries to get her to like him everyday, and tries different things to get her to like him, and she falls for it everyday, and later in the movie, they get married.
3.Noah's mom: maybe, Katy Perry.

Delete1/2 I would rate Flush a 4.95 on a scale of one to five. I say this because the ending was sort of bland. I understand that there wasn't much to work off of. The resolution was solved and Dusty was fined. But I think that Carl Hiaasen may have ended it differently, I like the idea that they finally saw the green flash. My opinion would be that Grandpa Bobby found the AMANDA ROSE solved all the death problems and returned to live in Miami.
ReplyDelete3.if there was a sequel where to be written I would make sure that Grandpa Bobby will return with the AMANDA ROSE. I also think that Dusty will come back and make a club that is illegal in some way. Once again the family comes and saves the day. Noah"s dad understands that his position in life is to enforce the Florida laws. He then realizes that he should become a police officer.
4. The 3 characters I would chooses are Abbey, Noah, and Noah's dad. Playing Abbey would be the girl who played Ramona in Ramona & Beezus. I say this because she looks exactly how i imagine her. Playing Noah would be Josh Hutchinson. I say this because they both have freckles how the author described it.PLaying Noah"s dad would be Jim Carrey.Jim Carrey looks EXACTLY like Noah's dad.
I don't see Jim Carrey looking like Noah's dad because the book specifically said that Paine was buff and beefy, Jim Carry is too slim in my opinion

For Noah I would pick Dylan Sprouse because I always liked both Dylan and Cole but I think Dylan's cooler. For Noah's mom I would pick Sarah Palin because they are both mean and Sarah looks very mean.For Abbey I would pick Marandia Consgrove because I think she is a good actress.
I would rate flush as a 4, just because the plot is good but it could be more exciting at times I personally thought it was slightly boring in the beginning. However, I adore the ending. I just think the way it ended was good for everybody and it was implied the loose ends were going to be tied up all in good time. I wouldn't change anything about it. If there was a second book, I basically think that there would be a new troublemaker because Dusty's criminal days are over and Noah's family will work together to stop it again. Minus the bad Underwood reputation. I also think Grandpa Bobby will come back to help them with the Amanda Rose in tow. If I was the casting director, I would definitely pick Shia LeBeouf to be Noah, Dakota Fanning to be Abbey, and Tim Tebow to be Paine. I think it would make for an amusing trio, and they would work well together. I also think they are all good at what they do (even though Tim Tebow plays football) and would enjoy this interesting story.

1. I would rate Flush as 4.5 stars. I say this because the author could have had more funny parts and have been more creative. For example,the author could have used more similes that are not commonly used.
ReplyDelete2. The ending was tremendous! If I were the author I would have only added parts to the end. I would have added that maybe Noah actually gave Jasper a taste of his own medicine. Noah could have pranked Jasper or punched him or something.
3. I think Grandpa Bobby would return with the Amanda Rose and go to Noah's house. Noah's dad would recover fully and live happily with his captains license. Everything will be the same except Bull and Jasper would not mess with Noah ever again. Abbey will be her plain self and find her way into another crazy adventure. Their mom will stay married with their dad and never think about divorcing their dad.
4. The characters that would be casting are: Noah, Abbey, and Grandpa Bobby. The person acting as Noah would be Greg starred in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This is because Greg and Noah share some characteristics and their personalities are similar. The person acting as Abbey would be the little girl that was supposed to be Max in Wizards of Waverly Place. I say this because the girl is like a mirror of Abbey. The person acting as Grandpa Bobby would be Jonny Depp. He is a great actor and his character in Pirates of the Caribbean is similar to Grandpa Bobby. They both are adventurous and crazy.
