I think this book so far is a mystery and some what funny because maniac's new friend came from a buffalo pin i would be scared to live with buffalo because there huge and what if they thought you were there enemy that would not fo so well and i cant wait till this book is over because i want to know what this book is intirly all about!!!!

3.the character i relate to the most in this book is amanda because shes a girl and i enjoy reading and i wouldnt let any body read or even touch my favorite book!!! shes also one of my favorite charactors so far!!$$!!

DeleteI think the book was good and sad becuase Grayson died and Maniac didn't even see his funeral. I wouldn't have changed the book becuase it's so good how he is dealing with his life so I wouldn't change. I think i am most like Maniac becuase i can survive on my own like he did in the begging of the book.

ReplyDelete2. A part of the book i would change was Grayson dieing because i liked the charecter grayson and he took care of Maniac by giving him food and teaching him how to pitch and play baseball. Iwould aslo change this part because now Maniac does not have anybody to take care of him or any food source or any where to go too.
3. The character i most relate to is Maniac because Maniac likes sports and hes good at them and i also play sports and are good at most of them. I also relate to Maniac because he likes to trash talk and i like to do that sometimes

DeleteI think this is a very good book.No there is nothing I would change in the book.There is nothing I need to change in Maniac Magee because it is to good to change it might change all the action like when he fell in the animal enclosure and the old man came to help him. I think this is a very good book for a kid to read when they have nothing to read.

ReplyDeleteI really like this book.Its very interesting.The part that i like is the part where Jeffrey is getting chased by the cobras.I think the cobras are a bunch of dummys because Jeffrey is way faster than them.I wouldn't change any part of the story because i liked the part where Jeffery started talking trash to mrs. Beale.it was relly funny because she smacked him across the mouth and he just forgot about it and staarted saying i love you....i love you....i love you.....Th3 character i relate to is Jeffery becuase im really fast just like Jeffrey

If I was the author I would not change anything because the story is good the way it is because the author did a great job making the story because magee is a nice person in the story because most people make their charaters jerk but the author made magee a nice person to people like amanda because he help her fix her book.

DeleteI love it I dont read often but I could read it all day long. I love it because its a combonation between that I could relate to this story and its about sports. Maniac played baseball and I play baseball. And I have a cousin whooses parents both died and he switched to a couple different houses but he finally got settled in to a house in New Jersey with his grand parents. If I were the author I would not have changed anything I love this story it is so interesting because I really relate to this story especially the baseball part. I would relate mostly to Maniac because ive always been good at sports but, I really dont have the best people skills. Just like Maniac kinda sorta. For example maniac is good at baseball like me and Maniac grew up with out a family so his people skills arent the best like mine.

Delete1.So far I think the best part of the story was when Maniac ventured onto the Black End of town and started meeting all new people. I also like the part where he met the Beales and started living with trhem and he got a new address and he was so happy.
ReplyDelete2.If I was the author I would change the part where Grayson died because he was like Maniac's dad since Maniac's dad died in the subway accident. Grayson also taught Maniac how to play baseball while Maniac taught him how to read a book. Maniac also was the only one that hung out with Grayson and talked to him because when GRayson found Maniac in the buffalo pen he gave him some new clothes and helped him find somewhere to eat, sleep, and chill out.
3.The chgaracter I relate to the most is probaly Amanda Beale because she is very sensitive and sturn and I can be just like that sometimes. She also has 2 siblings and I have 2 siblings we have a very good mom and she has to open up to the idea of this new kid in town just staying at her house all of a sudden. My way of seeing of how she felt when Maniac stayed there was kind of like "omg! I wonder how Amanda is going feel when she finds out this stranger kid just moved in?!"
I love it but some times it confusing. I like it because it intresthing and it confuse me thats why i love it. The part i will change is make Mars bar a good person Because i know he have a nice hart. My additional thoughts is when Maniac Magee indersept Hans ball I made a conection be cause I did that before.

DeleteThis book was good so far why beacuse it shared peoples feelings and how they felt on others it also told about what the chacters have did or done.There are a few things I would have changed the characters names and the charcters role in the story.Lastley the charcter I relate to the most is MANIAC MAGEE.Why I choose this answer is because I think he is a good role model in some part in the story plus he was the main charcter out of the chapters I have read so far.
