Remember to fully explain your response to each question by using details from the story.  Check your spelling and grammar BEFORE you send your comments to be published. 

1.  Describe the relationship between Noah and his father.  Do you think this is an overall positive relationship or a negative one?  What about the relationship between Jasper, Jr. and Dusty?

2.  How does Carl Hiaasen use humor throughout the novel?  Do you think he has successfully used humor while writing about a serious issue?

3.  Discuss the differences between Noah and Abbey.  What makes them such a great team?
