Are there any parts of the story you would have written differently if you were the author of Flush? If yes, what would you change? If no, why would you leave things the same?

I like the story so far because the plot is wonderful and I never know what will happen next. Though I don't understand a couple words. The only things I would change is use words more kid aproppriate. I think this story is wonderful.

ReplyDeleteYes I like the book so far, there's somany twists and turns. The Book is great I love it. It's so good I just wish I had it at home I waould read it 24/7 non stop. I just like this book so far. :D

ReplyDeleteI think it's good, there is many twists and turns every chapter you read. It exiting too. Noah (the main character) is trying to stop a casino boat from dumping its sewage in the water. So, the book has many exiting twists and turns as he tries to stop the boat.
If I could change anything in the book:
I don't think I would change anything because, the book is so good already with exiting parts like Noah's Dad taking of his house arrest track, then puting it back on fast while the sheriff is at the bed room door. The more exiting the more you want to read. (I wish I had it at my house I would read it all the time!)
The Character I think I'm like the most:
Is Noah beacause, I like to stop thinks that are bad or pick up trash (like Noah did when a boat driver tossed a glass bottle in the water) I also help people with thinks to (Alot!)
I think it's a good book to sam because i just love how the author uses different words for the holding.XD

ReplyDelete2 Yes , there is actually one part I would change. it would be the part of when Noah would be interviewed. I say this because it had some good information, but also has a lot of useless information that will not be used again so i believe that the part should be more intense.
3 I relate most to Abbey, I relate most to Abbey Because she likes to bite things and works for the things that matter to her until the deed is done.

DeleteWell if you mean kid aproppraite by the cussing, yes. But, if you mean kid apropprait by the long word we don't know most of, no. No for the long words because their putting the real name of it like if they put boat instead off skiff you wouldn't know what the boat is. Yes to the cussing because, the book is good and all kids off all ages should read this without asking their parents what a one off the cuss words mean. So, the awnser is Yes/No depending on the way u put it.

ReplyDeleteI would say yes i would change the story if iwas the author of flush.i would change the part where noah and his parents were looking for abby and dusty was talking to them saying that he dosent know where abby is i would have him talk in a suspicious voice like he knew where she was but didnt want to say any thing and the dad would try to hit him but th mom would hold him back amd then abby would jump on the car and they would crash and then they would laugh then see that dusty was pulluting the ocean and they would catch it on tape.
I think the character I realate to the most is abby because even though me and her are like 11 years old dosent mean we both cant stand up for ourselves.i think this because when abby over heard her mom say the d-word [divorce] she was very upset and was crying alot. well the same thing happened to me when i found out my parents were getting a divorce i cryied alot expessially when it was my step dad that was like my real dad.
I laughed pretty hard when I read your new-and-improved action scene. That would have anyone on the edge of their seats. XD

ReplyDeleteIf I were to be the author I would change the part about it dumping holding because to me,it is just descusting.
The character I relate to the most is noah because I would be determend to get dusty to stop dumping the holding so the fish would come back and the kids would be able to swim there again.
I've been reading a lot of comments having to do with the word choice in this book. I do believe the words should be more kid appropriate, however, I think we are mature enough to read it and not be too nuts about it. If we were talking about younger audiences, then yes. But anyway, I love the book. It has a great plot but for me it started off a tad bit slow. But when you get into it, it's a wonderful book and I think some people can relate to it. With that said, I would change the beginning of the story and start it off with an action-like scene. Start it off with Noah's dad sinking the ship and then getting into the backstory and details. I relate to Abbey. I think she resembles me in the way that I am the second-born child and me and my sister do have a close relationship. Though we fight, and the book never really tells about Abbey and Noah getting into it. And when me and my sister fight, it borders on physical. Toodles <3 ;)

DeleteI think the book is great so far beacause, I like how Noah is always finding a way to fix stuff. It also scared me when abby ran away but then I relized she was trying to help get evidence for dad. I sure hope they get him out of jail and have the real criminals arested.

ReplyDelete2. No I would not change anything in this book. I would not change anything because everthing is like a sandwich. All the condements(events,characters) fit together perfectly and the taste is delisious!
3. The character I relate to most is Abbey. I relate to Abbbey the most because she is the most funny character in the book to me. Abbey is not afraid to say anything or do anything. She is a dare-devil and never gives up. Abbey's personality is just another way to describe part of me.
The book does putsome things in there that make you think this is going to happen but that happens. P.S. lol about the sandwitch part. $)

DeleteI think the book is really good every day i can't wait to read more. It's one of the best book i've read in school!! If i were the writer[author] i would have maybe made the word choice a little more kid friendly,however, were all young adults and we should be acting like that when one of the bad words come up. The kid that I can most relate is Noah because I would do anything to prove some in my family wasn't guility. I woud do this because I would have to trust and know what they did was bad but it was because they were trying to stop something that was also wrong and illegal. That is why is said these things to say my oppinion about the book and all the good and bad things.
